In conclusion, over the course of this blog I have discovered through my extensive research on the subject that digital media has become a vital part of every sporting event ranging from a small organised cycle by a former glorified olympic cyclist to the largest sporting event in the word – the Olympic Games. The advantages of using social media are so clear now that they outweigh the disadvantages for high profile athletes.
